I can't help but have the feeling AoS is the homebrew OC making setting. It's lore is mostly composed of fun and interesting faction ideas that usually happen to be a bit more out there than TOW's ones while the whole idea of realms and such seems to be growing towards building your own warband and OCs based off one big trait that comes with them
AoS' main appeal are the models and the homebrewing for me not gonna lie
