Honestly, I'm all for having the GW Store turning into basically Hero Forge where I can assemble MYDUDES™ and the buy them, even if they overcharged for stls (which HF kinda does) and had all kinds of Premum paid-service bs like full kitbash ability to pose shit.
I'm fully convinced that if they don't do that they're dead in the water in 10-15 years.
Thing is there's a not-zero chance they won't because "NOOOO WOULD BE THEY BE STEALING OUR STLS RIGHT AWAY!".
Wake the fuck up and smell the coffee, James, that's already happening, people are 3D-fying your preview pictures with AI to a pretty accurate degree (any maker worth of their name would be able to make them table-grade with very low effort months before they're even out), scanners will become consumer-level and widespread day-1 scans will be inevitable, it's a losing battle, adapt or die.
