The Inner Council would have an ambitious Kindred from somewhere else comes & be Prince. Something like this would both lessen tension somewhere the potential new prince is butting heads against the entrenched powers that be, give the potential new prince to prove himself, & put a closer eye on whatever is fucking up a city that lost a prince. The potential Prince is also not likely to say no since he would loose face for turning down such a reward. The only other alternative is having some hunchback rat wear a crown & to advertise just how weak the Cam is in the area that such a hideous freak gets to play court.
