Thailand is drier and sunnier in the Northern Hemisphere winter months. Thailand is also much less crowded than Vietnam. Thais are more honest and much more polite than Viets. Thais love peace and quiet in their residential areas. They are the only brown tropical people I am aware of who strongly dislike unnecessary noise.
