that's the thing though, the comedians who "come out" like this and "apologize" are all washed up as fuck. there's nothing that screams "PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME AGAIN AND GIVE ME MORE WORK PLEASE" like somebody who hasn't been on TV in years suddenly making a big self-flagellating stink about what an appalling bigot they used to be. they're already not funny
