He had to know though, right? I know he surrounds himself with yes men and when someone like Charls doesnt kiss his ass he just buys their friendship, but he is an artist guy at heart, all the artist types are insecure about their craft. WP wasn't really that funny, but it I do think it was great and felt fresh, like it had something to say. Episode 1 was just bad. I did chuckle a couple times but I don't get the point they were trying to make.
