No they didn’t. Over half the country is against what’s happening currently because ICE is raiding elementary school graduations, running around wearing masks and not showing their credentials and even arresting American citizens because they just looked brown enough. Not to mention the way they now have judges just dismiss people’s cases in court so that as they exit they immediately get jumped by ICE and sent to be deported, preventing them from filing an appeal which would be their right. They even handcuffed a comptroller the other day for asking basic fucking questions. This is not what people voted for. People, being ignorant morons, thought they just voted for dangerous criminals from being deported. And now they’re seeing ICE just go after anyone, including their own friends and family, just to meet arbitrary deportation quotas. And people hate it. That’s why you have people protesting ICE everywhere.
