oil corporations drill a relatively tiny hole and extract a substance no animal needs so it can then be used for energy that allows you to slap at your keyboard.
While the "solution" is to cover the land in solar panels, put up wind powered bird choppers, dam up rivers, and create giant nasty mines for battery materials. Which then those batteries burn for eternity despite being hit with several fire engines full of water. All to solve a phantom problem around producing CO2. Which is basically plant food and necessary anyway. Which they can't articulate how much they can reduce it, how much it will cost to do so, and what the effect will be even if they could. All while also ranting against natural gas and nuclear that produce far less if any CO2.
