I am telling you that several huge publicly traded companies are operating on completely obsolete business models with no capacity to develop a viable new one. They're faking viewership, buying their own tickets, leveraging all their intellectual property to simulate cashflow, and are basically dead in the water, but pretending otherwise. And you're saying a company is paying me to say this.
hollywood's business model, before social media, was cycling through youth demographics, its why the 20 year culture cycle existed. Every time one generation aged out, a new youth demographic took its place. social media disrupted and prevented that from happening again. hollywood's business model was rendered obsolete. the choice: admit this and collapse that day or pretend and collapse later.
