Majority of the country consistently shows in polls that they approve left wing ideas and policies when they’re explained to them and only disapprove when you say they’re left wing. Same way people refuse to believe that conservative policies actually mean in practice because they think it makes them sound too evil.
You’re seeing a lot of people seeing the most right wing administration in recent memory implementing their policies with full control of the government and they don’t like it. They also see mainstream media and democrats playing party cakes with Trump and they’re angry about it
