What sucks about MIDsomar is that it has a lot of beautiful shots and and the whole cult thing is cool but it's botched by the rest of the film. Aster has even admitted that he was in a bad state of mind because he broke up with his gf, but it's shit like that where you cannot take your moping and angst on the current project. Dish out a kino and then find a way to cope. Cus otherwise it affects the project, and it affects your actors, and it affects your crew, and now here we are 100% in the belief that Midsommar is not just his weakest film but his worst film. A creative can have a weak film, but when people say it's his worst then there's something wrong.
