I've seen them both. Abyss is easily the superior picture. You're one of those 'champion-the-underdog' types who proclaims to always prefer the one that audiences and critics both dismiss. Always holding up the "hidden gems", but not just to say check it out, to actually dare and claim they're even better than something well known and liked.
