That was probably the worst part of the episode for me in terms of dumb stuff you just need to accept for the sake of the plot happening. The most evil corporation in the universe has sent you aboard a ship that they own on a mission that they have deemed so important that they are willing to sacrifice the lives of the entire crew to see it completed. The mission is likely worth trillions and the company sees it as the key to its plans for global and universal domination. I'm supposed to believe that you'd be able to rip a fart on that ship without MUTHUR, Wey-Yu, and the Captain knowing about it? Weyland-Yutani would risk Earth and all of humanity for access to a bioweapon, but they draw the line at wiretapping?
