Count of Monte Cristo takes place in the early 19th century around 1815-1830, some of the older film versions are pretty kino like the 1975 version with Richard Chamberlain.
Captain Blood is 17th century around 1685-88. The 1935 film with Basil Rathbone and a young Errol Flynn feels very dated audio/visual wise but it's still fun.
