I don't want to steal someone else's work either, but I don't know if I'd say I'd rather die.
I also don't pirate games. Beat women. Rape children. To me this is just a weird comment. AI is trained by humans. Other people take that trained program and use it. If they feel comfortable taking someone else's creation and branding it for their own, who cares. I just hope it's good and that is objective in and of itself.
To me, nothing good has come from AI, but to those with low standards, it's art. Good and bad are objective, for the most part.
