(The only magical girl thing I watched was Madoka over a decade ago)
>The top of my 2 ribs were blown off. Was from there, to my hip. Could tell there my hip bones were if you were actively looking.
>Tell her I'll probably be fine since magical girl regeneration works wonders.
>It also focuses mostly on appearance, so the guts underneath are usually restored in a messed up way. The kind that makes us avoid hospitals. Plus recovery still takes long. It only puts things in roughly the right place.
>I repurpose part of my costume to keep my guts roughly in the right place while I let magical girl healing do the work.
>Rival helps me to evacuate the immediate fight.
>Tell her to get to her friends. I can be sneaky and get out safely. Probably. Hand her my cellphone number and insist she visits me to help with the bandages. Breaking the faux pas of keeping civilian and magical girl business separate. Not that it matters anymore with a major attack like this.
>The trek back to safe-ish territory is grueling. Since the goop monsters exploded violently out of the pipes, houses were fucked up. Had to sneak through one or two. Using kitchen towels as improvised wound dressing. Passed out shortly for a few times, majorly bruised my nose and eyesocket falling face down due to blacking out for a moment. The passing out is usually anywhere between a second or 10. Sometimes a few minutes, and sometimes longer. Despite the adrenaline, it still hurt like fuck. Sucking in air in labored ways to not scream from the pain and reduce it to wimpers. Had to mentally stress myself to see the few bodies I came across as just meat, no longer people, to not break down. Stopped producing tears pretty quickly, with how my crying didn't stop.
>Am stocked up on general first aid material since we had a lot of accidents when starting out as magical girls. My guts probably look alien if put under a scan at this point.
