There's a ton of side content, in a way that wherever you go you will find shit to do, but you're not rewarded to do it all and they dont want you to.
See it through the eyes of a kid, he gets to play mario kart like an hour each day, spends it just driving around and having a lot of fun because he's mario or whatever.
