Kim is a massive PlayStation simp anon, like Shift Up is a fully signed Sony second party studio, not just for Stellar Blade. The second party studio bit is important since that means that they still have a lot of autonomy, but basically Kim so easily did that because PlayStation was his dream console to release his games on, that and Sony will just handle all the marketing and promotion and even pay for their games now for basically nothing. You have to remember, while Stellar Blade being funded by Sony started way before Nikke released, Shift Up became an official second party studio like an entire year/year and a half or so after Nikke released so this is relatively recent all things considered.
