Bait, the Forerunner trilogy is great, Cortan's throwaway line in Infinite "We both know there's something worse than the Flood here" made me realise just how much 343 actively despises the source material and how incompetent they are, both from a gameplay and narrative level. (Though tbf 5 onwards did that).
