Nah, you're not the only one. The younger gamer audiences think e-sports gaming (120+ fps) is the standard for all gaming for some reason. Keep in mind lots of these are people that either played 360/ps3 as their first console as a kid, or they're actual bugmen that only play e-sports games like LOL, CS, and Valorant.

Only thing I care about being around 60fps (or more) are my first-person shooters. Only because I'm the type that whips the mouse to look around quickly. That shit isn't nice when it's unstable frames below that mark. If it's third-person, I actually can deal with frames down to 30fps if the frame-pacing is smooth/consistent. For example, RDR2. I played that game the first time around 30-40 fps on my previous pc build back in 2020. It wasn't a big deal at all, at least when not using the first-person camera.
