That whole cave scene practically screams "morning-after regret" if you watch it with even one unironic braincell. Like, Crysta’s expression when they come out is less “magical wonder of nature” and more “I just hooked up with a tourist and now he’s taking selfies with a tree.” Zack acting like everything’s fine and wanting round two while she’s clearly processing the cosmic-level forest STD he gave her (a.k.a. human emotional baggage). The movie accidentally tapped into a way deeper metaphor than it probably meant to-“man discovers nature is hot, defiles it, feels bad.” Shakespearean, really.
