The issue is that the way ff14 is structured makes it such that you HAVE to go through the wuk humiliation ritual to play the game. I suffered through the post arr quest slog and I genuinely think dawntrail wuk was worse. Even if the slog could be boring and dialogue heavy, at least the writing was decent and atmospheric, this shit with wuk is just trash. And you HAVE to go through it. Imagine if they do a soft reset and players first experience to the game is wuk lamat? They unironically need to scrap dawntrail entirely, move past it and make the next expansion the beginning of the soft reset and never bring wuk back or reference her or the expansion again.
