No, the idler games require close to no commitment, I can watch streams, read, draw, I can do anything while progressing in the game. I don't need to sit there and be overwhelmed by everything i have to two in game, to respond quickly, to commit to progressing, the handle the menus and all the chores that comes from regular gaming. I used to enjoy that but not anymore, I'm exhausted.

Furthermore, playing regular games is no fun for me. I get bored in a matter of minutes, it feels pointless and like a waste of time. I want to do other things while playing those games but it's like the only hobby I know. Idler games let me 'game' while also allowing me to indulge in other stuff. Easy solution.
