Shippers don't like it because they're mentally ill. They intrude all fanbase discussions to tell everyone how the blatantly obvious pairings (which don't matter because there's more interesting shit going on) are totally wrong, because they're some kind of Cupid romance expert and they can tell "who does and doesn't have chemistry, therefore-" and then at the end of the series they get proven wrong and embarrassed for being unable to read a simple story meant for mass audiences.
