I'm not saying it has to be 1:1 compared to XIV, but you can still have decent fights that are more than "avoid red", while having more characters that are more than "mash X". The game is just being carried by its IP. It's literally worse than PS2 Dynasty Warrior gameplay.
If all action games were like that just because they were 10 hours old, the genre itself would be fucking dead. Even PS2 action games had more interesting games than this.
So, for me, it is a shit game, very disappointing as they could have easily made something better and fun.
