>It isn't pointless, it is necessary groundwork for creationism.
And this is why no actual scientists ever bring up the hypothesis of universe being caused by something sentient, even though it's a completely legitimate scientific hypothesis with which basically any sufficiently learned biologist or quantum physicist is basically bound to come up. Because it arouses "people" like you, and causes this reaction:
>A scientist: it is possible that universe was designed by sentient agency
>Wait a minute...
>WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE
>DID LE SCIENCE JUST PROVE THAT THE GOD IS REAL
>MY GOD IS REAL
>SCIENCE HAS JUST CONFIRMED IT
>SCIENCE HAS SERVED ITS PURPOSE AND IS NO LONGER NEEDED
>EVERYTHING WE'LL EVER NEED TO KNOW IS IN THE GOD'S HOLY BOOK
>QUICK, BURN THE SECULARISM
And this is why this subject is never brought up. It is legitimately impossible to form an actual scientific discourse around it as long as religionfags are allowed to open their mouths in public. This is why they should be relentlessly mocked and derided forever. Apparently this shit is experiencing resurgence on the internet nowadays because of browning of US, but I remain optimistic on this subject since mental and cultural level of people globally generally still goes up.
