The character that gives you the truck is trans and has a big coming out scene about how xir hubby was the only one to accept them... which is really weird in a setting that also includes the fucking Animals and other whacky shit. There are entire gangs in the tabletop setting that base their identities around getting bespoke sets of augs just to look bizarre.
The whole thing is out of place and tonedeaf. I assume someone on the team just had an agenda they wanted to crowbar in.
