Absolutely everybody from the old days of COD fandom bounced a long time ago, only the most docile braindead NPCs who will buy it every year are left, and the nu-fanbase that doesn't know better. And cheaters, of course, so absolutely nothing of value will be lost if anyone gets hacked, except for innocent players who want to fire up a game after years of absence, unaware of the whole thing.
The only thing worth playing is zombies and single player anyways, COD multiplayer has been dead for over a decade. If you want to play older multi titles, the ones that are actually good, I am sure you can find private clients and server lists so you don't have to deal with the cheaters and exploiters.

Ricochet has been in use with every COD game since Vanguard. It is the most useless kernel level anti-cheat and it has been cracked/worked around on year one, I believe, and is pretty much seen as a joke even by modern COD fanbase.
