As an overarching story and in the specific writing of the second two movies the Sequels are a dumpster fire. Even though it's effects and actors are the best a Star Wars movie have ever had, at least until Daisy Ridley gave up halfway through the second movie and they made Boyega spend the entire movie with a pointless character fulfilling a pointless plot.
