anything more than 1080p 24" is bloat. 1440p and 4k can only be justified somewhat when it comes to gaming, but when you have those resolutions you usually have a <24" screen - which means everything aside from 1440p or 4k content will look like poop. Trash PPI.

Now, how much content on the internet that you consume is 1440p or 4k? 99.99% of the internet is 1080p.

A 32-inch 1080p display has ~68.84 PPI.

This is considered low by modern standards, meaning individual pixels may be visible at normal viewing distances (unlike high-PPI displays like smartphones or 4K monitors).
