You mean ice rain? Where the ice shards falls on top of you? Because the ice breath where he freezes the ground is just free damage. I already tried RG and got decently far. His first phase is easy with RG because the ice rain falls in a single spot so you can jump and RG pretty consistently. In his second phase the ice rain keeps falling for longer and in random patterns that track your location so while I could still RG 80% of the time, I would ocassionally still get hit in the recovery by a single tiny delayed ice shard and while it's chip damage it means the SS is gone. It's a pretty shit boss to be honest. I lot of guides just cheese him with guns in the corner. I could do the same but what would be the point, it's not fun.
