You're not going to get proper responses from autists on the Internet who will parrot the same thing how they want to "own the games" despite games since the 7th gen of consoles have gotten patches/updates/DLCs, or that nobody has ever lost the access of their purchased digital games (unless you broke the ToS of the storefront, that's it).
I don't plan on ever getting a key card since I practically buy everything digital, but the majority of consumers are also not going to make the difference between a key card or the PS4/PS5 disc that installs the game data on the internal storage. For them, it's the same difference.
