no, I think that behind the shitposters there's a subset of people who are legitimately bothered and aggrieved at nintendo who, when you really get them to say what bothers them out loud, have irrational resentment towards this company for some game or lack thereof that they never got over.
most people who don't like nintendo games that I know just don't occupy their mind with them. the people who serially talk shit about nintendo every waking moment, especially when they're successful, are usually the people who are resentful that others aren't as resentful as they are. they've got a chip on their shoulders
