Is this really going to be what DK Lore autists are going to end up with? That Nintendo somehow decides to retcon it so two of their most famous characters didn't appear in their first hit videogame? "Oh it's not Mario and Donkey Kong's debut, it's the debut of this rando Jumpman and this rando Cranky Kong!". Is it so hard to just accept "Cranky is not the original DK"?
