The canon ending and the one they want you to like (and the only one they have created extra content for) is the one where

In other words, do not fall for the superficial charm of this game. The people who made it have more in common with redditors than with other anons here. They hate us and even hate the idea of having a happy pure girl fall in love with the protagonist. Once you learn that, your enjoyment of the game falls massively.
