You can do a lot of fun and stupid shit with just a video editor, some text and a copy of photoshop mixed in with some gameplay or chopped up footage of your favorite/most hated TV shows. Look at the videos people used to make in the 2004 - 2010 era of Youtube, it's basically just curious and autistic kids playing in a pirated video editor. I'll bet half of them got actual careers out of that dumb shit.

I have one diagnosis on depersonalization/derealization and another on ADHD which others in my family have to varying extents. I wound up looking online to see if there's any kind of comorbidity between the two and it looks like there is which would make sense given factors of how my mind works (always 'bored,' always ""thinking,"") and problems that come with growing up with unchecked ADHD (constant lectures/getting yelled at, constant introspection on why I can't do what everyone else does, intense social anxiety, etc). Kind of just trained to either zone out or obsess over something.
I don't like trying to play pseudo-self doctor here but I've also come to realize that 90% of doctors will throw their hands in the air and go "Gee, I dunno what's wrong with you. Have you tried just being normal" unless you bring something to the table other than just your symptoms.
About to go on stimulants once my health insurance comes back online which worked VERY GOOD for one family member.
Apologies for the extended blog post
