No they don't. They portray Godzilla as an animal, and draw parallels between his destruction and natural disasters. The showa films have some goofy stuff like Godzilla dancing, but it's far more believable as an observable behavior in a living creature than this beat you over the head biblical allegory shit is. Michael Dougherty who clearly has no understanding of these films or what they are ACTUALLY meant to represent and can suck shit from an anus as far as I'm concerned, since that's metaphorically what viewing experience of KOTM is like. Fuck him, and every other talentless hack working in Hollywood, they made Minus One look seem acceptable by comparison when it's so much farther below the standards of the other Japanese live action Godzilla films.
