I feel like the Asgore ending should have been a neutral ending instead of as only a flawed pacifist ending.
I guess if I was to make it a neutral ending, you would have to do a Neutral route and then say no to wanting to live with Martlet on top of UG apartments, and instead of Flowey killing her, she just tells you that Asgore probably kill you if you try to fight him and urges you to reconsider. If you say no again, she will respect your decision, albeit with a sad expression and says she will be waiting there if you change your mind.
You then go fight Asgore. More specifically lose to him since you don't get a turn. And then Flowey mocks you and tells you that you need a higher LV if you want to even get a shot at beating him.
Unfortunately, no matter what your level is, you cannot defeat Asgore unless you complete the Genocide/Vengance route
