They mentioned in a Q&A that a "big youtuber" showing the game boosted their sales slightly but didn't help too much in the long term when they were still struggling to make sales and were still considering packing up and leaving the ship when they were just past the Kickstarter phase if I remember, so this guy didn't do THAT much for the popularity.
