And it was a bit of a shaky mechanic that a lot of people weren't fans of and they took back out. Even primal armor was another attempt at a mobility/energy management system. ACS is just another shot at it. They're iterating on the idea and it's really funny to me that people see it go "HUH? like sekiro?!?"
