I was just throwing out a hyperbolic number, there are still probably some invalid signatures, again from americans signing thinking they're smart or just actual EU citizens that messed up somewhere, maybe slipped and typed Jon instead of John which would invalidate it.
Still I do think we're in the clear, I was more pointing out that EU politicians are very obviously ready to continue the fight even if the initiative ended up failing.
