There's a limited amount of goodwill for payment processors and if they play with fire, they will find out once people find alternatives. You can only abuse a system for so long before you get isolated.
I know there's idiots or disingenuous shitcans out there who think/say this is about porn, but it's not about porn, porn is just one small thing here, this is about control of your money. Today is porn, or the "wrong" kind of porn, because i can assure you the child porking services are easily using both MasterCard and VISA with no issues, but tomorrow it can be about where you can buy food from or who you can donate to.
Just like the Americans used and abused sanctions until they stopped working against states like Russia or Iran, so will these payment processors lose their luster once a BRICS alternative pops up, and that's a matter of time, not if it will come. The Chinese have no qualms with your governmental structure or business strategy, they only care about making money. Tick tock, Visa. Tick tock, MasterCard.
