It’s a literal ps2 hallway jrpg with the same floaty janky movements and stock UE assets. It’s not even as innovative as say Xenoblade (wide fantastical environments) or persona (stylish menu). I guess it’s new to western people including journos that have never actaully play a jrpg. It’s a western skin dated jrpg. I guess that’s “new” for those types of people.

Bananza is much more innovative. Also, don’t sleep on Prime 4. That will be another contender for sure.
