Everything goes back to the original filing date anon, including revisions which you're referring to. They haven't filed a single patent after the release of Palworld and have only had a few approved in America.
Filing patents has a strict 2 year wait before they're approved and that's true regardless of where you are in the world.

Yes and they were filed in 2021 before Pocketpair had shown off any of the mechanics in game since just about every trailer until 2023 was prerendered and didn't feature any of the mechanics they're being sued for.
