I can't take Nintendo reviews seriously, they never match my experience. Good for them that they love it, but they would love it no matter what it was. Not exclusive to Nintendo, either.
Not even implying they're paid shills or whatever, but there is a clear deficit of diversity of thought in game journalism. Everyone likes the same things for the same reasons, you never see a challenging opinion, a point of view you wouldn't have thought of just by watching trailers. No wonder people only care about the number when there's nothing of worth said in the text.
