Nope, I'm completely serious, just also venting decades old grudges, where I unfortunately first got introduced to Battletech by MechWarrior 2 and 3, but then much later found out about the real source game and setting, after which I've time and time again saw the "MechWarrior" problem get only worse and worse over time (sometimes even bleeding back into the source retroactively by retard authors), and at the point where I saw the actual BattleTech X-Com-lite STILL follow the MechWarrior bullshit depictions, I swore off any further BattleTech vidya. Yes, I'm still salty and don't give a shit about the MechWarrior games on their own merit, BECAUSE they fucked (and continue to fuck) the source material so badly and the vidya communities keep slurping it up.
