It's a sappy post, but Nintendo are just too far ahead of everyone in terms of gameplay.
They're about 10 years ahead of everyone else. Everyone else are still making games for 2014, and Nintendo broke that mold with Breath and others, and they're about 10 years ahead.
Even From is 10 years behind, they're still making Dark Souls 1, they haven't really figured much out.
