That simple. It isn't some "le evil capitalism demons". It's their personal business and if they get enough leverage to make deals, that just means it's good business. You prob complain if someone raises prices on products that have high demand.
It's basic fucking economics, Visa and Mastercard are just thinking long term, and they offer the best service.
