This issue falls pretty strongly along populist/establishment lines. Far right people have been bitching about this for almost a decade at this point, I think there was even a grifter that attempted to make his own "MAGA card" or something retarded like that. Far lefties hate anything remotely related to banking or puritanism so it goes without saying they hate it on principle. But the more establishment types on the left view this as an enforcement mechanism to punish media companies and such that have gone completely insane and the establishment right is just puritanical.
