You can't turn back the dial on these things. Once sex stuff becomes outlawed it stays outlawed for hundreds of years, only potentially being undone by accident, because it's taboo and no one wants to be the face of such a movement. No one even wants to talk about it. It hurts a lot seeing this because it's so easy to be in the right as the offended who wants to restrict others. It seems reasonable on paper, more control and more safety always seems reasonable, even if much freedom is lost. It's almost impossible to play the role who defends the right to taboo things like pornography.
Just look at japan. The most prolific producer of pornography ever, yet they are unable to lift the censorship curse placed on them 100 years ago. Things never ever go in the permissive direction on sexy/porn stuff specifically. There will never be a chance to reintroduce those rights ever again in 500 years. Every strike is very harmful and cannot be recovered from easily.
